I’m so very sorry for your loss. Harriet and I were friends at Niles East, and we attended a reunion with other friends. She was a sweet person and always funny. So many high school memories with her making us smile. My heart is with you all.

Harriet always asked, “How are those grandbabies.” And we would share grandchildren stories and she would light up listening to my stories and sharing her stories.

The last thing we did together was arrange a new planter on her deck for some hydrangeas that she was excited about growing this summer.

Never once did she hint of her struggles.

We are so sorry to hear of Harriet’s passing. Although it’s been many, many years, I remember when we were kids and our families would often get together. Harriet’s mother Masha and my mother were dear friends. Actually, Harriet was a bridesmaid at my wedding almost 50 years ago. Our heartfelt sympathies to the family…..We hope that your loving memories will bring you comfort.
